Just an update, ive a new PC so trying to find and put all my work on my new laptop is stress,,, the above painting for my doctor.

Not posted in time due to a number of reasons, new Laptop being one, thats got a touchscreen, screen so can draw on to the screen using a stylus, just getting used to it atm, also still working on new paintings and artwork..peace..

Full props to Justin Moseley for finding this gem from 87.
Was 27 years ago! 4th July 1987, when Saturday morning TV show get fresh came to town, stocked with loads of buntlack, lol..
pure vintage!
So good to see again..
This piece was dropped after the show back in St.Mellons, (@ triangle park, as we called it.) with the buntlack they brought, was a great day, Boiling hot, had music playing like old skool hop hop.
Great times.. : ) like many times in this park we had...
Anyway Thanks to Justin, Priceless find, man..

Hmmm...Thinking about it, It would be nice to rock another jam like old times at this park, with the Electricty boxe, walls and to put up new MDF panels as this park,
This place was part of the heart beat of Cardiff Graff/& early Hip Hop culture and featured the first legal wall, (and was a mini HOF) back in 1985 that where even featured in the local rag, I did have a copy but lost it gutted....
But a mini Jam, Just an idea atm?,
Be cool to bring some long lost spirit & community to the estate later this year again, with graff, music, B.Boy/Gal's on lino & a beat box... And what a better day than July 4th? as an anniversary

Not posted for a bit, been a bit unwell, with Tooth problems, and infection, When you have toothache you don't feel like drawing , painting or anything for that matter.
I'm just waiting for the beginning of march so I can be knocked out and operated on up the Hospital..

On the music tip I couldn't keep this secret any longer, If you where there in 88-93 Involved in House from raving, or collecting tunes, digging crates, to following and listening to pirate radio, or getting your tunes from copys of copys, from friends or dodger geezers at Camden selling tapes when you tRAVElled to London, back in the day (as there was no radio here at Cardiff) there are so many jems here, That just has has the funk and soul classic, & mystical house vibes gave you back then. If you feel house music you know that vibe, which seems to be making a big comeback again stylisticly

Anyway get your mits around these tunes, put them on your phone, pc, what ever, its amazing to hear these after so many years, these are pre rave or hardcore or what ever you want to call it, when the likes of joey beltrum where dropping serious tunes and the R&S label.
Me and Hoxe used to listern to Acid house for inspiration, trying to imagine the tracks or 303 sounds had a 3D dimensional entente with it, warping etc.. helping us see letters.. lol..its true and we came out with a few outlines and styles.. etc.

DJ JAFFA, Goes back to 83 as a BBOY originality, He is dope at his craft and made a name for himself in Cardiff, He turned too DJ'ing, which as been very sucessful over the years inculding Sucess with rap tunes while living in London.
He came back to Cardiff we hes been busy playing many Hip hop, Rap events at Clubs to Festivals and Radio station and production etc....
He has his roots in ST.Mellons where all the best Writers DJ's, B.Boys,Gals & M.C. Are from..Only joking..

An old outline from 20 years ago, Says Skroe, It got wet prob with cider and bled, I think its from 1993, It might be older due to the crew names underneath. CSC (Crimnal saints crew), & AAD, (Art after Dark) which goes back to 1991. I wish I looked after my work
Black widow on found wood, This was done in 1996 with airbrush at St.Mellons Community education center.
I might get an airbrush so point this year.
This etching was done in 2001 while in uni, while fighting my own demons..against booze etc..

Just adding two Sketches now, I should get life drawing again, I think it helps not just with drawing but graff letter stylin etc, it helps letter movement and flow IMO.. Also the female form is everywhere in one form of another in contemporary design if you notice, there curves and shapes do something to us.. Man's been fascinated by the female figure since the beginnings of art, From the earliest artefacts found going back thousands of years, Females have been a huge inspiration on us men. and lady's.. ..
On too another Female of the species, that's fascinated us in one way or another in these modern times.
Kate moss sketch, just ideas atm.. drawn from memory/imagination mostly and a reference image.
I might redo this sketch, maybe to work a painting from ? not sure yet, The drawing needs to be in proportion first.(Would of been easier to have her model in life, lol...)
Kate Moss appears to be kitsch these days in art, Not sure if its a good or bad thing?
