a bit of work i've been doing recently, most is from imagination, memory.. i need to start life drawing soon.. ive more work on the go, but thought i'd post something at least, for now until the paintings and sketches graff and art based, are completed and i'll post up soon....

Not posted for a bit, been a bit unwell, with Tooth problems, and infection, When you have toothache you don't feel like drawing , painting or anything for that matter.
I'm just waiting for the beginning of march so I can be knocked out and operated on up the Hospital..

I thought I'd post a few random images for now though..

An old outline from 20 years ago, Says Skroe, It got wet prob with cider and bled, I think its from 1993, It might be older due to the crew names underneath. CSC (Crimnal saints crew), & AAD, (Art after Dark) which goes back to 1991. I wish I looked after my work

 Black widow on found wood,  This was done in 1996 with airbrush at St.Mellons Community education center.
I might get an airbrush so point this year.

This etching was done in 2001 while in uni, while fighting my own demons..against booze etc..

Basically he named a character i was doing in my sketches etc, its progressed from there.
I'm going to do more work, both in comic and graffiti styled to more realistic paintings.
Including her sidekick Super Strut.

Pele

Painting of my close friend Pele.

I finally finished this painting I was doing of Pele my close friend for over 15 years.
We met when he wanted to learn graffiti, we both became close mates and was hanging around daily with our dogs, we'd exercise them for hours daily.
Sadly his life was cut short at such a young age, I wont go into details for his family's privacy.
He was a dear friend, and still feels as if he's not gone, It's difficult to explain.
He leaves two children and a grieving mother which this painting is for.
The photo is terrible, the colours are all washed out from a mobile phone.
I never took this picture, but its the only picture I have of this painting completed.
I've a few w.i.p. shots i may add later to show the colours..
Also I might revisited this painting and do another but in oil paint for his family.
Maybe with a dark background, I've only one photo to work from but I've tried to paint his "laid back attitude" if that's the right way to put it.
It was a difficult painting to do not just the work but the emotional issue to it.
I just hope His mother/Family are happy with it, I had to leave it somewhere for his mother to pick up before Christmas last year.
I hope I've done him justice, there's plenty of things I'd change, but you don't always see these errors while working on the painting.
So another one might be on the line..

 Graffiti is dead!, Canvas from a few years back

 Untitled Seen an image from an old mag that had a feature about graffiti in London, I liked the image in the mag so used it in this painting..

 some throw up styled letters on a bansky canvas i received as a gift.

 an abstract type picture, the background reminded me of cans of spray paint, so ive got an idea of painting as many cans from differnt paint companys from all parts of the world.

Added Trap straight letter to Yard shot flick, Its dedicated to the old skool writers that the Vandal squad would try to Trap, in yard. Just at the time the VS where middle aged donught eating Squad that where tripping to get young agile, fit street wise writers on busts, From Imagination so not sure if this is the correct setting at the time, in the Yards in NYC.
I further completed this with rain etc..

 Loved this Hoxer,I might use as a reference,  for a painting on a canvas as part of a idea i have, it Hoxes cool with it..

Elm street its ethier Raining, like a wind tunnel, the natives are frendily most of the time, though Thats when there high or just scored

 ols sketch from years back, notice the tobacco, which i gave up well over 3 and half years back!

Old Mons from city jam a few years back when painting was pain but still bearable Anyway I might post flicks of the day next..
